"Absolutely faultless!"

I received a call earlier this evening 1/06/2014 from Maternity Triage stating that I needed to go back in for a review after being seen there Wednesday evening. On arrival, I was greeted by a midwife. Needless to say, she was fantastic! So reassuring with a lovely calm voice and friendly face! I then had my observations done by a HCA and she was lovely too, showed me where everything was and explained why she needed them. I arrived in the middle of handover so the wait was a little bit extra but that's completely understandable and I had no problem with that whatsoever. After the handover, a midwife took over my care and made me feel so relaxed and took my mind off everything! She made me feel so calm which was a huge help as I was very anxious. The SHO was so lovely, very explanatory and informative. She ran everything through thoroughly to ensure I understood everything and made sure I was happy with everything explained. Couldn't fault her in the slightest. Another midwife deserves a special mention. She recognised me from my Wednesday visit and made conversation to cheer me up and check on how I was. All these ladies were very friendly and made me feel very relaxed and welcome to contact any time for information. As a first time mum, this is very reassuring and comforting knowing I always have someone to turn to. Thank you all, again x
