"Untitled"

An awful hospital.I was unlucky enough to be admitted to this hospital via ambulance. Left alone in a cubicle in A&E for ages, distressed asking for next of kin to be contacted, but not listened to. Transferred to ward 23 where my misery started. Treated poorly by staff, not a whiff of being treated with respect and dignity. As a vulnerable patient, I was patronised, ignored, and nor given medication on request, until family intervened. Basic procedures not carried out, filth under bed, told by nurse when I asked for a fan as I had a temp to move my bed nearer the windows. Overheard staff swearing and moaning about another patient, self discharge during as soon as I could stand up. Formal complaint made in October 2013, still waiting for resolution and it's may 2014. Referring case to ombudsman. The worst hospital I have ever been in.
