"My experience of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

During the 'journey' from seeing a GP at Lytham Road Surgery, being referred for specialist investigation and final diagnosis with a prescription for treatment, I have been 'cared for' by a number of health care experts and experienced a variety of procedures. The probable cost involved is difficult to contemplate but thankfully the only mention of cash there has been in the entire procedure concerned a cup of tea for a 'visitor' at Fulwood Hall! The whole process has been conducted in a timely manner, entirely in accordance with my wishes, to produce the outcome I desired relative to my initial symptoms. I will only say further, in closing, that the process was in effect a replay of one conducted just over twelve months ago when the pace of investigation was, necessarily, markedly quicker with a radically different but equally happy outcome.
