I had my little girl at heartlands the start of march. Due to high blood pressure, I was being induced at 40+4 weeks. While I was there, I had a placental abruption. The staff all acted quickly, and explained to me what was happening and that I needed a c-section. My husband wasn't there at the time, as it was late in the evening. I was very scared at the time, however the midwives reassured me and hugged me while I was getting the epidural. One midwife got in contact with my husband and he was there just in time for the birth. I couldn't thank them enough. If I have another baby I can only hope that I will be at Heartlands Hospital again.
"Thank you so much to all the staff on the Labour..."
