"Catarct removed"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I had a cataract removed at QMC Nottingham in February this year. The best things about my treatment was being informed of what procedures I could expect and of being put at ease before the operation started. I think some things could have been done better. For example, what to expect after being discharged on how long roughly it should take before the pain should ease so that patients are not worrying about how long it seems to be going on. However, I would like to thank the nursing staff of whose names I can't remember except one called Alexis. Even the receptionist was friendly and polite. All in all it made for a good experience on the Eye Day Care Unit on floor D.
