In January this year I had day surgery at QMC for my cataract. The care I was given was excellent. I am diabetic and have heart problems, so I’m in the hospital regularly. The staff are always superb!
I am claustrophobic, and after my first cataract operation I had nightmares about the part where they covered my face. I was scared to go back to have a second cataract. But my eye got so bad, that I could hardly see, so I had to go back.
A friend had recommended one particular surgeon, so I asked to see him, and that was fine. They put me on the list, and then there was a cancellation so I went the week after. What excellent timing! I was very scared of having my eyes covered, so they used a clear cover over my other eye and gave me oxygen. They were so kind and careful to make sure I wasn't scared. Many thanks to marvelous Mr. Marshall! He came highly recommended and I can see why!
"Many thanks to marvellous Mr. Marshall!"
