About: Castle Hill Hospital

My father had a stomach bypass at castlehill on 12 july and is still having to beg for treatment because the consultant has bodged his operation and is refusing to take accountability for this. 4 days he was told he would be in hospital he has now spent 10 weeks in and out hospital having been admitted to our local hospital again last nite. He rang his consultants secretary to tell her he was bein sick again and not able to keep food or water down, this has been the problem from the start because the consultant his stapled his gullet too small, he was told an appointment had been made for 16th sept so when my father explained he hadnt eaten or drank anythin for 3 days already and that he couldnt wait another week she said the consultant wasnt prepaired to change his schedule and that my father obviously had an inability to listen and put the phone down on him! He then went to his local doctor who has admitted him straight to hospital. I am utterly disgusted that a consultant and his secretary think that its exceptable to allow another human being go without food and water and it not be a priority!! How dare she tell my father he has the inabiliy to listen when all hes doin is askin for help!! Hes 62 and a diabetic you wouldn't treat a dog in this manner!!!!! This consultant has destroyed my father mentally and physically and is taking no account for his actions!! Iam taking further action on this as it is completely inhumane to treat some1 in this way and will not be letting this go. I dont rate this hospital at all.
