I was referred for a scan to St Marys by Barlby medical centre on the 8th of Aug 2014. On the 10th of Sept the same year I have followed up on this as I have not received any correspondence from St Mary's. Barlby confirmed they sent the fax on the 8th. I called St Mary's and they said they had no details of me on the system and to call Barlby back. Barlby reconfirmed they had sent it. And sent it again on the 10th of September. Seems the admin is very poor to have lost this important piece of info. Also very worrying, as this could be an issue relating to a very serious issues, and a month could mean possibly life threatening delays. Also worrying to find out that the system relies on fax's? Surely we should be using electronic trackable forms of communication for such serious communication channels? Thanks, Damon Walmsley
