What I liked
Very little on this particular visit.
What could be improved
Vast improvements should be made in the understanding of the needs of dementia sufferers.
Although my wife said that she wouldn't stay overnight in hospital due to her fear and anxiety caused by Alzheimer's Disease, the doctor continued to insist that she had to stay to see the consultant the following morning. They wouldn't entertain me taking her back in the morning.
The system isn't flexible enough to allow this, yet it would have caused no upset to my wife and saved them the trouble of a bed being used for no reason!
