"Thank you to ward 7 and oncology"

My mother in law was in Ward 7 at Furness General for three months. I am writing in praise of the staff in this ward who provided wonderful care for this lady. They were extremely hard working! We had to stay many nights because of her illness and the staff were in demand throughout the ward constantly, day and night. The staff were very caring, supportive and sensitive with all the patients. They were also supportive to our family in what was a very difficult time. My brother in law was on the Oncology ward at the same time. Again, staff there were wonderful! I feel compelled to write about the staff in these wards as the hospital is often criticised; hard working staff must feel quite demoralised at times. Thank you to all the staff involved with the care of my family!
