"bowel cancer"

About: Kettering General Hospital

Its just a big thank you from me for the speed in diagnosing and treatment of my bowel cancer. Every query was answered, treatment fully explained, the surgeon rang my husband as soon as the operation was completed which was reassuring. He did a great job and my recovery has been good. Hate the DVT injections I had to do so if someone could invent a better way I would be grateful. Can see lots of inefficiencies on the ward but to be fair couldn't see a way to solve those. The food was fine with variety and portion sizes available. Very happy with the service. Colorectal dept, Thank you again

I am glad to hear that your treatment experience has met the high expectations we aim to deliver all the way through diagnosis, treatment planning and delivery of your care. Apologies for the VTE (DVT) injections – they are an important element to patient safety which is at the heart of the service we deliver. We wish you well in your on going recovery from your operation. Many thanks for your kind comments Andy Dixon
