I had a major stroke just over six weeks ago, and had heard so many good things about Clayponds that I was determined to get here.. It is an amazing achievement for the NHS to run a hospital that is even better than a private hospital. The nurses are wonderful, the physiotherapists are second to none, the food is first class, and the senior sisters, they are so caring with a spectacular sense of humour. After the misery of my stroke, it's such a relief to have access to the wonderful gardens, with. Wild parakeets, foxes, and squirrels galore. A little green piece of paradise in South Ealing. Five stars unreservedly. There's a long waiting list but get here if you can.
