"I will be heard"

Every time I write a review in this place for one reason or another you reject it. I was a patient at this hospital for about 3 years in and out being treated for sickle cell on the roundwood ward, and it's only now that I've joined another hospital I realise how appalling treatment was on the ward. More often than not you have 0 involvement in decisions regarding your own care, you are made to feel like a burden for asking for medication (several of us complained that the nurses and doctors very often made you feel like a drug addict for one reason or another) we were rarely ever listened to and only a small handful of nurses actually made us feel like people. I remember complaining about a certain way of receiving medicine that didn't work for me and I was penalised for it, only to find out now a lot of patients have complained about the same thing and they've now made it protocol. I'm very upset about the way I was treated at this hospital and I will be making a formal complaint and writing about it openly.
