"Excellent in every way!"

I have suffered with an awful skin condition for 6 weeks and was put on an urgent referral. I was so pleased to be seen in 2 weeks. I was apprehensive and anxious about how much they would do as I was so desperate to get this debilitating condition sorted out. On entering the Dermatology Centre the atmosphere was positive and it appeared clean and calm. From the receptionist through to the Doctors and Health care Assistants I was impressed. They were kind, caring and listened. They looked smart and acted professionally. They made me feel at ease about having to undress and ensured I was appropriately covered. They went above and beyond to get me the tests I required at the point of care. I left 2 hours later feeling so over the moon to feel confident that I might have a resolution once the results are back. As an employee of the NHS I know how different departments can vary in terms of their standards and quality..but this place was exceptional and was by far superior to the private health care I had paid for previously. This experience made me proud to work for the NHS which is not a common feeling for me. A star from beginning to end. Thank you to the wonderful staff.
