"Excellent Care at ENT, Bedford"

I was referred to ENT via my Bedford Haematology consultant. The Clinic staff were friendly and welcoming: the waiting area was clean - no issues. My consultant was thoroughly professional, open and honest, once he had established this was what I wanted. He undertook a laryngoscopy and also took biopsies, explaining what he was doing and why. He gave me all the time I needed. The consultant wanted an MRI scan and this was completed within 3 weeks. The MRI staff were also excellent. Subsequently, he phoned me at home (as we had agreed) to explain the key results and way forward. Follow-up appointments already arranged. The whole process, over 5 weeks, has been brilliant and goes to show what the NHS has to offer in general and more particularly the first-class service at Bedford Hospital. I know not everything in the NHS is always good but we tend to comment when things are not great and forget to praise the majority of care which is excellent.
