What I liked

My son was treated fro a dislocated thumb in A&E. He was treated within about 2 minutes of arriving; the specialised children's unit was fantastic; the staff were fantastic at relating to children and parents alike. They mimimised his distress, treating his pain within a couple of minutes, and carefully explaining everything that was happening to him. They were equally careful to explain everything to me, making sure that I knew what to expect and therefore minimising my distress; and involving me in decisions along the way.
