I was in Monklands Hospital on Ward 15 for 4 weeks being treated for psoriasis. The ward treats people with eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions.
The treatment was excellent, you needed to be naked to have the treatment, the nurses were so kind and cheerful they made you feel at ease given your loss of dignity. They were always singing, joking and talking to all the patients they made you forget that you had lost your dignity.
Alison Dobbin, Ward Sister, and all the staff were a credit to the hospital.
If other people need to go to Monklands for this treatment they have nothing to be worried about. It was a joy to be treated there.
"It was a joy to be treated at Monklands"
