While I was on holiday in Cornwall with my wife, I had a heart attack. I made a call to a number I saw on a poster on the campsite which said to call if we needed a doctor. They took my details and within 10 minutes an ambulance had arrived. Considering we were at least 30 minutes from the nearest A&E, this was very impressive.
Firstly Phil arrived in a car, and was followed by Sam and Ralph who took me to hospital in their ambulance.
My wife was in a bit of a state when they’d arrived, probably even worse than I was! They were superb. They dealt with me really well and also calmed my wife down a lot. By arriving so quickly they took a lot of worry out of a worrying situation.
