"Total Hip Replacement"

Four weeks ago I had a total hip replacement here. Reception and secretarial staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The surgeon and anaesthetist were marvellous. They both went to great trouble to explain the procedure that was of course pain free throughout. The physio I have received was excellent and within a month I am no longer having to rely on crutches or walking stick, although I am carrying a stick for 2 reasons - precautionary and because I find I need it for my other leg that I had been informed was in a similar state, hip joint virtually bone on bone. It is painful and when I am informed it will require surgery I will not hesitate to have the operation at Spire Thames Valley Hospital if possible.
