I had a shoulder operation on the 15th August with a follow up appointment with the doctor on the 28th. The doctor indicated that I should have some physiotherapy, by the time I got to the dept. there were only two receptionists on duty & one said I would be contacted the next day. Friday came, no phone call so I phoned & left a message asking for someone to make contact. Today (Mon 1st Sept) has come & gone & still no call about an appointment. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. When will someone call me

Dear Mr Stean We are sorry that you have not been contacted regarding your physiotherapy appointment. We had passed your information onto Erith & District Hospital who provide the care in your area. We had expected them to contact you directly with an appointment time and date. We have contacted their physiotherapy department again and asked them to ensure they get in touch with you as soon as possible. Please contact Erith & District Hospitals Physiotherapy Department if you have not heard back from them. We apologise that we did not make you aware of the fact that your care was being delivered at another hospital by another provider. Kind regards The Communication Team Darent Valley Hospital
