My son is now on his fifth session of chemo. He was unhooked at approximately 10 am today it is now 5.20 pm and he is still waiting for a doctor to write up a prescription for him to take home.
7 hours for a prescription that he takes home every month. Why can't this be wrote up the night before? There was a doctor speaking to him today, why could it have been done then?
He is waiting to get home to have something to eat because the meals are atrocious. We travel a fifty mile round trip, the four days he is in, to take him something in to eat, otherwise he would not eat.
I know it's only a job to you but put yourself in the place of my son, who is petrified, and see if a better service can be given.
"Better food and less waiting for prescriptions for my son"
