"Disgusted"

About: University Hospital (Coventry)

My mum has been backwards & forwards between hospital & doctors. She suffers with chronic headaches to the point where she cannot move, speak, eat, talk or even open her eyes. The pain is sever. I have taken her to this hospital countless times & each time they basically say there is nothing they can do & send her home. My mum has informed them she is suicidal due to the pain she is in yet they treat her like she is nothing but an annoyance. They have not done anything to get to the root of the problem or help her in any way at all. If the worst does happen then every doctor she has seen will be held responsible in my eyes & I will not stop until they understand this. To see her suffering like this is unbearable but even worse knowing if I take her back there she will be left to wait hours, ignored, spoken to like rubbish then shoved out the door as quickly as possible. A hospital is meant to provide care for those suffering not make them feel as they are a nuisance. I'm disgusted with how my mum has been left to suffer with this life ruining pain. It's tearing her life apart & no doctors or health professionals seem to understand or care. If I could afford to pay for her to go private I would do it without a second thought. I can't bare to see her in this pain anymore, I feel so useless as I am completely out of ideas. I've spoken with so many doctors & tried to explain the urgency of the situation but it's like they just cannot be bothered. Between being ignored, left in side rooms for hours, spoken to like rubbish & being sent home every time feeling just as bad or worse than when she arrived, I just don't know what to do I just know she can't be left to suffer anymore.
