"Appointments and Prodedures/ Thanks"

About: Newark Hospital

On Tuesday 19August 2014 I had an appointment with a doctor in Gastroenterology. He was extremely thorough explained everything to me in a friendly manner it was agreed that I would need to have a Colonoscopy. I attended the Endoscopy Unit and was given an appointment for Friday 22 August 2014 at 15:00hrs which was brought forward by mutual consent t 13:30. I duly attended at 13:10 when everything was explained to me (I must admit to being a devout coward as far as hospital are concerned) The procedure was carried by another doctor. I cannot speak too highly of all the staff and doctors that I met and commend them for their kindness and professional care, I sincerely hope that you will make them aware of my comments and thanks to them all . Will you also ensure that my comments are passed on to the Clinical Director and Senior Executives. I personally value this hospital and think that some of the proposals regarding A&E provisions are to say the least misguided and should be totally revoked given the increased development and population in the area. Especially as in other parts of the country cottage hospitals with full A&E facilities are being built. Michael John Jeffrey
