"Dental care"

About: HMP Nottingham

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Patients should have the right to pay for proper dental treatment, including false teeth after dental extractions. Long term service users trying to rebuild their broken life have a broken smile: )

Many thanks for your feedback. I have discussed this with the dental provider who advises that they currently provide immediate care and continuing care that encompasses all items of NHS dental treatment that is on a par with community provision. If a treatment is deemed clinically necessary and in the patients best interests, it will be provided.
