"Excellent, kind and compassionate staff"

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I write to place on record how excellent, kind and compassionate all the staff were to me during my recent admission to the Royal Surrey County Hospital. I passed through A&E, then was in the Intensive Care Unit and lastly the Acute Dependency Unit. I found all the staff to be unfailingly cheerful and efficient, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them, and they work long hours for not huge remuneration. Also, I should like to say I personally found the food excellent, especially the home-made soups!

In these challenging times for the NHS it is reassuring to know how good our local hospital and it's staff are; often all we hear is negative.

Thank you again to everyone at R. S. C. H.

Yours faithfully,

Thank you for your positive feedback. It's always great to know when we are doing well.

I will pass your comments onto the departments you have mentioned who I'm sure will be delighted. It is always very motivating to teams if they recieve recognition for the hard work they do.

We are very pleased that you had such a positive experience.
