This is very hard to write. The doctor who cared for me was absolutely fantastic and I could not have been treated better. I was informed, involved and most importantly listened to. Sadly the nurse was more interested in chatting with the people next to me rather than actually caring for me. This resulted in rushed, perfunctory care and sadly when time was running out the push to 'get rid of me' - admitting me would have added to re-admission figures as I had been recently discharged. This meant that I was discharged without the prescribed treatment even though it was prepared and ready to be given to me! But targets will be met and they seem to take priority to care. The clip board rules to the detriment of clinical care.
