"Fall from ladder"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

I fell from a ladder in the garden today in Bromsberrow Heath and two lovely paramedics attended, accompanied by the Air Ambulance. The Air Ambulance was not required so I was taken to Gloucester Royal by ambulance. I was feeling very queasy so the paramedics kindly stopped the ambulance and administered a drug to help the condition. They stayed around when I was admitted to A & E. The doctor sent me for an X-ray, he informed me, very clearly, what I had done and I was able to leave soon after. I cannot fault the care he showed me as well as the two paramedics, whose names I failed to notice. Very grateful thanks to all concerned. David Hunter
