All the staff on the Maternity department/ operating theatre's were fantastic and I can't thank them enough. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left they were all brilliant. They are caring and thoughful of all decisions being made and kept me up to date with what was happening throughout. My husband was allowed to stay with me until our baby was born via section, which was lovely as comfort knowing he was there. Lovely they provide that service! Lovely to have the caring staff working in our local hospital, we are very lucky to have such facilities on our door step. Brilliant 2nd time round as was 1st time......... Thank you! xxx

Firstly we would like to offer our congratulations on the birth of your baby. Thank you for taking the time to send such a delightful review of our maternity services at this very busy time for you and your family. Our Midwifery Led Unit has recently been refurbished to ensure our mothers and their partners are made to feel comfortable and it is good to know that these changes are making a real difference. It really is wonderful to hear that your birthing experience was as positive as we would expect and that you were kept informed and looked after so well. We have passed your comments on to the maternity team where they have been warmly received.
