I have a muddle of conditions including p. o. t. s a generally unheard of illness. Whilst in hospital I lost sensation in my lower body due to my illnesses. I have been referred by the unit at Lauriston House to have tests, scans and a calliper for my leg to aid my walking. They also sorted a wheelchair of my own and assisted me to move property as my house wasn't able to be adapted for my needs now I'm moving to a sheltered housing complex with my daughter of 12years (special permission granted). The staff here are always happy and sometimes they even sing for us; -) they have made my stay here that bit better for me allowing my daughter to spend time with me just the two of us. And meeting another worker here with the same conditions helped me to understand my conditions that bit better thanks guys I will certainly miss you. XXXX
