"Couldn't thank the staff enough"

First experience of natural birth and it was amazing! I originally wanted to go the the birth centre, however, high blood pressure meant that I needed to be monitored. I arrived at the labour ward to be checked as I was bleeding. My waters broke whilst waiting, and from that moment the staff were brilliant and really encouraging. 3 hours later my daughter was born. I needed stitches and I was given lots of anaesthetic to make it as pain free as possible. The staff were so helpful and made myself and my partner really comfortable.we stayed in our own room until I was discharged 6 hours later. I couldn't thank the staff enough for a wonderful experience. Some of the staff who I'd met whilst being examined even came to visit us before we left as a family.
