About: Florence Nightingale Community Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

I honestly can say that the only good thing about my daughters recent stay in the hospital was the day that she was discharged - without the correct diagnosis as the hospital has "not enough resource for more thorough tests to take place". A freferral for private treatment was suggested to which she will gladly take up. The nurses gave much better standard of care than the doctors who lacked seriously in people skills and gave out teh attitude of "we are understaffed therefor do not have the time" to look into a diagnosis. The bed was not cleaned under fr 3 days and had blood covered tissue/peper towel under from the previous patient. Hand washing did not seem a priority at all and the staff actually ad to be reminded of this procedure. 2 hours passed as my daughter was left with no contact from any member of staff whatsoever. In summary - this hospotal is a total discrace to the Nathional Health Service.

What could be improved

I beleive the statement above covers all aspects.
