"Gallstones Operation"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

I came into Lancaster on 14th July for a keyhole gallstones operation.Everything went really well, the ward nurses were helpful, the anaesthetists efficient and the surgeons worked well. The tuna sandwich and yoghurt afterwards were delicious. The scars have healed to a line on the skin and though my tummy is a little tender it gets better daily. I am back to swimming, walking and dancing and normal life in general. The nurse did explain what to do for a few days after the op. but a sheet explaining things would have been useful. Thanks again for such a great service!!
