What I liked
was the professionalism of the doctors, nurses and surgeons. At a very worrying time, our son was diagnosed with Pyloric Stenosis. Havin never heard of the condition and our baby only being 3 weeks old and having to be operated on, well you can imagine our anxiety. They kept us all informed and would only complete the operation once every detail had been resolved to ensure no unnecessary risks were taken.
What could be improved
The communication of being told an ambulance to transport us to Leicester would be arriving but it was half a day later. Obviously we appreciate that emergencies do come first. This made us more anxious and nervous.
