(as the patient),

my brother is on life support machine second day. doctor say its no chance for survive, say could be his last min. hours or days he said org.is too weak itd. last night 1. 15 a.m.was moved to another hospital 100 miles away reason for this was somebody needed bed .......????? family didnt find out till this morning he had been moved .....can somebody tel me pleaaaaaaas its legal to move him without family permission we cant afford to travel and no transport to go 100miles to spend last days with him please can u help

Thank you for taking the time to talk about your experiences. I am really sorry to hear about your brother; it sounds like such a distressing time.

So far as finding out why he was moved and whether there is any way to get help with the cost of travelling to see him, try your local NHS Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) for more guidance and help. They can be contacted at either of the two hospitals where your brother has been. If you ask at the main reception desk, they well tell you where to find the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) office. They should be able to explain what further help you can expect to receive. I wish you and your family all the best for this difficult time.
