The Patient Advice Service was most unhelpful and in fact told me that I would be hearing from my local GP and not the hospital. When speaking to the GP I was told that this was not the case and to chase the Hospital! Only when I constantly rang the Consultants secretary did I get a response and this was from the Ultrasound dept.

I am still waiting for my letter although I have been told that there is nothing to worry about from. Very worrying standard of service though!
