"compassion"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

My son, who suffers from sickle cell anaemia, has had 2 "crisis" in the last 2 years. Both times he was treated with care and compassion. The staff have to deal with an enormous cross-section of patients and their medical problems. They give their all and often without any appreciation of their work. There are better hospitals, no doubt, but equally a lot that are worse.
