"Gallbladder removal"

About: Lister Hospital

From initial diagnosis to the operation I have been very impressed by the Lister. The admin staff were very helpful and reassuring throughout the preliminary sorting of op dates. The medical team on the day took time to brief me and review my previous medical history. The nursing care was attentive and thorough as I was initially far from well. The new Treatment Centre facilities give a good impression and all the staff were caring and professional. The long queues for blood tests are challenging but understandable when the hospital has no control who appears from GP's. Again the staff here were helpful and pragmatic. Thank you all.

Thanks for your feedback, which we will make sure reaches our colleagues in the Lister's Treatment Centre, as well as those in the phlebotomoy service - which incidently is now managed by a separate organisation called the Pathology Partnership (it runs routine pathology servcies across six nhs trusts across the East of England). Our doctors and nurses involved in your care recently will be delighted to read your kind words, which are on their way to them as we type! In the meantime, we trust that you will go on to make a full and good recovery.
