"We were very pleased with the service"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

When my mother was severely constipated and distressed, my niece called for advice and a doctor was sent to see her. An ambulance also came within half an hour of the call. After she had been examined the doctor and ambulance crew thought it would be best if she was taken into hospital where she could be made more comfortable.

The ambulance crew were very good, very attentive and helpful towards my mother and saw to all her needs on the journey from our house to the Dilke Hospital.

We were very pleased with the service.

Hi Prints749

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with feedback; I hope your mother is feeling better.

It is always very rewarding to hear how our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to patients, and support to families, when they need it most.

We would be able to share your kind words with the ambulance staff involved in your mother's care. In order to do this we would need some more specific information. If you would like us to process this futher could I ask you to contact me on either 01392 261 552 or sara.coburn@swast.nhs.uk.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to share your story.

Sara
