"Pig in the middle of who does dressing"

About: Birmingham and the Black Country Manor Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Compound fracture index finger - hospital said need to have dressing changed every 2 -3 days. GP Aldridge Northgate - can't do it as short on nurses - advise got to walk in centre - Walsall walk in so full of notices on what they do and don't do got confused so walked out. In the end went to B'ham Boots to get drsssing chnaged. That is bad service

Update posted by Peterskeg (the patient)

Perhaps more helpful to others and I to state who was responsible for changing dressing because without that knowledge who could you complain to?

As an aside got reinfected so two courses of antibiotics - due to delay in having dressing changed? If it was then NHS waste of money in lab test and second course of antibiotics.
