"A&E is still chaos!, long wait times, no info"

About: Royal Free Hospital

I visited A&E with difficulty breathing and other complications. Reception staff are not very caring and there is no chair to sit whilst at reception or in the queue. I couldn't stand due to being dizzy and fainting! Was made to queue for 30 mins for the first triage then the dr put me back into the queue for triage with a nurse which took another 25 mins. No ide why patients need to get triaged twice? I then got seated inside on the chairs opposite the toilet and left there for another 2 hours. Eventually they told me that I was quite un well & needed to be admitted. I was very poorly and they left me sitting in pain for hours. If I was so ill that I needed emergency admitting and once on the ward was not allowed out of bed why was I left for 4 hours on a chair in a&e in pain and getting more un well? The Dr's seemed over worked and the nurses chaotic. The royal free a&e is chaotic and poorly run. Patients are left for hours with no info. I tried speaking to the nurse in charge but I was told the nurse was too busy to speak to me & that I should just sit and wait. The nurse said they were short staffed. Haven't we heard that all before. Poor nurses over worked and under paid and patients getting very poor service. I hope you improve things. ps the gents/disabled toilet seems to be the 24/7 free toilet for every drunk/homeless person/ druggy in Camden, its very dirty and smells.
