About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I had Rheumatoid Arthritis some years ago, but then it went. This year I had symptoms again. I met a lady out shopping who had suffered the same symptoms as me, and she told me about the Rheumatology clinic- which her doctor had referred her to.

I asked for a referral to the clinic and TRAQS gave me an appointment for August, and then brought it forward to July- which I was most grateful for- as at that appointment I was checked thoroughly and given medication which has relieved a lot of pain and stiffness and hopefully protected my joints etc. Perhaps information about the Community Rheumatology Service could be made more available so that other patients in need could access it.
