"fantastic care from arriving to leaving the labour ward"

i would just like to share my experience of how fantastic the staff on the labour ward at pontefract general infirmary were when my wife went in to give birth to our son. with it being our first child, my wife was very nervous. she was ten days overdue and had to be induced. she had not had the best time during pregnancy, however, the staff were all very supportive and reassuring. in total we spent around 44 hours on the ward and saw 6 different midwives, one always introduced the one to replace her, and were all extremely pleasant professional and caring. the ward was very busy with many patients needing sections and special care, but even the smallest request or seemingly silly question at the time was never treated as anything less than important. fantastic care from arriving to leaving. these ladies are certainty worth their weight in gold. to each and every one of you,thankyou!
