"My mobile MRI scan"

In January this year I went for an MRI pelvis scan. I arrived twenty minutes early, as requested. I had never had a scan before and this one was a mobile scanner. It was -2 degrees Celsius outside but it was pleasantly warm inside. The procedure was explained to me by two pleasant staff. The questionnaire given was checked and the scan started on time. Strangely enough it was relaxing experience. It took about twenty minutes whilst I was simply lying still and listening to whirring, buzzing, whining noises. I almost drifted off to sleep. The members of staff were very professional and I was reluctant to step back into the cold weather outside!
