Thanks for your feedback, which we will pass to the Pathology Partnership - a new NHS organisation that now manages routine pathology services (including blood tests) across much of the East of England. These clinics operate on a drop-in basis, so it means that they can get very busy - which in turn can be very frustrating for our patients. This is why the phlebotomy service team provides services at a range of centres, some of which are based in community settings that may be easier for some people to use - you can find out more on our website at http://www.enherts-tr.nhs.uk/patients-visitors/our-services/blood-tests/ If you would like the team to investigate your concerns about waiting times and conditions at the QEII ahead of the service moving in to purpose-built facilities in the New QEII Hospital that opens in Spring 2015, then please contact us at generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net and we'll pass your email on to the team at the Pathology Partnership.
