"My Dad"

I thought nurses and doctors were hear to help, be sympathetic, kind, caring ,but oh no not what i have come across in the last 3 weeks . Its all been LIes, delays and excuses. We were told my dad has got cancer, and he sits in the ward day and night waiting for treatment none has come, its worse than outrageous, He wasn't given an evening meal as he was asleep so they didn't bother to wake him up. They told me there are no towels on any ward to dry my dad after his shower as i forgot to take one in, so i dried him with paper towels. But guess what, 2 days later i found the linen cupboard opposite the nurses station, full up with towels! They don't let me use the wheel chairs on the ward ,even if they are not being used, and in all the time i have been in the hospital ive only manage to find 2 chairs myself there are none around. He went for a PET scan was suppose to drink lots of water before he went ,the nurses would not allow this, gave him a wet paper towel to suck! My family are disgusted by this , it should not happen.
