"Rude doctor"

I went to Abingdon hospital earlier today as I had an accident at work. Reception was lovely and was only a half an hour wait. It was the doctor I saw that was the problem. She was very rude and talked to me like I was a child. It didn't seem like she was interested at all, not listening to what I was saying. Will not be going back there if I can help it. Maybe she was tired, which I can understand but she could of shown abit of interest.

Response from PALS Department, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you very much for your message, I was really sorry to read of your experience at Abingdon Community Hospital. I wonder if you would be able to contact us in the PALS team in order that we could look into this matter further.

If you could re-contact us back through patient opinion or alternatively I think it might be more helpful if we could discuss this matter further with you. Just so you are aware our Freephone number is 0800 328 7971 and either myself or a colleague would be very happy to discuss this issue with you.

However I was pleased to hear that you didn't have to wait long and the positive feedback about the reception staff, I will ensure that this is passed back onto the team.

Please could I also apologise for the slight delay in responding to your message.
