"the hospital staff in the outpatients ..."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

the hospital staff in the outpatients department were exceptional. they kept me informed of any decisions and progress and always helpesd to maintain my dignity at every appointment. i was possibly facing cancer and every staff member i came accross made me feel relaxed and comfortable. i also have a terrible phobia of needles, so they used paediatric ones on me to help.

What could be improved

the time waiting for appointments for the scans, i had to go to another hospital for one of the scans as the waiting list was too long.

Anything else?

Im only 25 years old and the possibility offacing breast cancer at my age is extremely terrifying as you are just really starting out in life. both the hospital and the staff in it were brilliant and i couldn't of asked for better care. i would reccomend everyone to the hospital and i personally will only ever use this one.
