"very poor service and response to complaint"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

Waited over 5 months for appointment to discuss treatment with a consultant for my symptoms. Rang up after waiting 3 months for an appointment to be told "they are very busy you are on the waiting list". Wrote a letter of complaint to chief exec after waiting a further 2 months to be told by him (after sending second letter to remind him he should reply) as I had had a gastroscopy that showed gastritis, that was it. Although I had had gastritis diagnosed through the gastroscopy, that counted as treatment (silly me I thought it was a test) and if I still was sick to go back to the GP. Well, yes, I am still sick because I've had no treatment! To me that's like having an X-ray showing you have a broken leg and saying if you still have a broken leg after the X-Ray go back to your Gp. Well thank you, so now the Gp has to refer and I guess I have to wait another 4 or 5 months? thanks for nothing mr chief exec. Appalling.
