Doctors referral on 1st April. Appointment then made via Choose and Book service to see dermatology specialist at Minster Medical Centre. 3rd June appointment kept and consultant has diagnosed a BCC. Advised by consultant that I would hear from Medway in 8-10 weeks with an appointment to have the carcinoma removed. This morning 30th July, phone call from Medway to make an appointment .... no not to have the BCC removed but to see a consultant ??? !!!! Caller had no interest in the fact that a diagnosis had already been made and I was waiting for the operation. Did I want the appointment to see the consultant. Looks like I have no choice if this is to be progressed. What is going on ?
