"Lack of ability to contact any department is..."

About: North Middlesex Hospital

Telephone numbers are neither engaged or ever answered. Emails and letters are never answered. While limited space is not the hospital's fault the charging method is. 15 free minutes is useless. It is impossible to reach the enquiry desk and get back to the car in that time. One can have no idea how long one will be, even at an appointment. Why cannot a system be introduced whereby a ticket is taken on arrival and an appropriate amount charged on departure. Also, on two recent visits the machines would not accept coins and, as I do not own a mobile phone, I had to miss my appointments..

Sorry to hear about your experiences. I am the head of services for cardiology department, christopherdinsdale@nhs.net and take your comments very seriously. Please email me so that I have all the facts to enable me to resolve your issues. Parking is dealt with by an external company and will pass on your comments to them.
